Introduction COVID-19 is an infectious disease that has been associated not only with respiratory complications. The COVID-19 disease includes, also damage to other organ systems as well as coagulopathy. The present report describes a case of COVID-19 presenting with acute mesenteric ischemia (AMI) and subsequent acute limb ischemia (ALI). Presentation of case An 84-years old hospitalized female patient presenting diabetes and recent COVID-19 reported acute onset of abdominal pain and typical findings of AMI. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Large-bore catheters allow mechanical thrombectomy in ischemic stroke by engaging and retrieving clots without additional devices (direct aspiration first-pass technique [ADAPT]). The purpose of this study was to establish a model for minimal catheter diameters needed for ADAPT. Under suspicion of pulmonary embolism, a new portable "click 'n run" extracorporeal life support system (LIFEBRIDGE-B(2)T [Medizintechnik AG, Ampfing, Germany]) was implanted by the femoral vessels under resuscitation within 15 minutes of presentation. Non-office-hours admission affects intravenous thrombolysis treatment times and clinical outcome

In patients treated with intravenous thrombolysis (IVT), an unfavourable ‘non-office-hours effect’ on door-to-needle time (DNT) and clinical outcome has been suggested. This effect has been attributed to a number of factors, mostly related to either less efficient logistics or less (experienced) staffing during non-office hours (NH). These factors could result in longer DNTs and more protocol violations and thus in worse clinical outcome.
